The multi award winning couple will set Bassline on fire with their music as they take to the stage with collaborations from their award winning albums respectively. Tshepo Mngoma has just finished a run of Dream girls SA at Monte Casino as Music Director and will now take to the stage with wife and business partner Swazi Dlamini who has just release an album Gospel Meets Jazz, though this evening will comprise of mainly music from their previous albums, Swazi will sample some of her new music as will Tshepo whose follow up album is due out September 2011.
Expected on the night will be songs from Swazi Dlamini’s Multi award winning debut album My first love, songs like Yekelukuganga, Shangaan , Ungubani to name just a few, and songs from her SAMA and Metro nominated Sophomore Album Dance with me, songs like Aint no sunshine, I am an African and Dance with me to name just a few. Swazi and Tshepo will collaborate on Songs like you are my friend, uBuhle Bakho form Tshepo’s award winning debut album People and Places.
The evening will be designed for jazz and soul music lovers and the couple never disappoints their audiences, no matter the genre.
